Turkmenistan to hold exhibition of national products in Iran
Turkmenistan is preparing to hold an exhibition of national products in May this year in the city of Gorgan, Islamic Republic of Iran. This was reported by Vice-Premier N. Ataguliyev at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, according to TDH.
As reported, the event aims to expand trade turnover between the two friendly countries and to present Turkmenistan's export potential to Iranian entrepreneurs and consumers. The exhibition will feature export-oriented goods produced by various sectors of the national economy, as well as products manufactured by members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
In this regard, the Vice-Premier submitted the corresponding proposal for the President’s consideration.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan consistently develops trade and economic relations with neighboring countries. It was noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran is among Turkmenistan’s close partners. Approving the proposal to hold the national products exhibition in the city of Gorgan, the Head of State instructed the Vice-Premier to carry out the necessary work in this direction.
