From foreign experiences -"Koofers"
Koofers is a privately held company founded in 2008 and headquartered in Washington, DC. Koofers' primary goal is to serve the academic needs of higher education students through data sharing. Students can use their services by registering on their website with their email addresses.
Coofers provides a full range of academic calendar (calendar) services: from course selection to final exams, as well as interactive flashcards, teacher grades, and a library to share past exams and study materials.
Koofers.com was founded by Virginia Tech University students Michael Rihani and Patrick Gartlan. In 2019, the company was sold and is now part of Docsity.
The principle of operation: the services are paid, and any registered user can download the books, manuals, tests he needs by paying a fixed rate. If senior students upload their completed coursework and homework to the website, they earn points, 10 points for each uploaded document. Thus, they can transfer points and buy other necessary manuals and documents. Payment with points is provided.
The advantages are that students and other users can share manuals and books with each other.
